• Contact information: first and last name, email address and phone number
• Traveler legal names, as they appear on travel documents
• Traveler dates of birth, required by travel suppliers
• Booking information: room choice, number of travelers, payment choice, amounts and booking reference
• Payment transaction status returned by the payment provider
• Any note you choose to add to your booking
• Anonymous usage analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies

Card details are collected and processed by the payment provider on its own secure checkout. This site never receives or stores card numbers. We store only the transaction outcome, the amount, the currency and a provider reference.

Your information is used to create and manage your reservation, to process payments, to communicate important trip information and to meet the requirements of hotels, transport operators and local suppliers.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not send marketing on behalf of third parties.

Booking, traveler and payment records are only accessible to the trip organizer through a protected administration area. They are not publicly readable, and access is restricted at the database level.

Necessary details are shared with travel suppliers only where required to deliver the trip.

Anonymous analytics are only loaded after you accept them. Declining analytics has no effect on booking or payment. Analytics never receive your name, email, phone number, date of birth, booking note or payment identifiers.

Booking and payment records are retained for as long as needed to operate the trip and to meet financial and accounting obligations.

To ask what information is held about you, to correct it, or to request deletion where it is no longer required, contact hello@chinagrouptrip.com. We respond to reasonable requests.
